The department of history F.C.E kano, is one of the pioneer department established in the institution when the college started running NCE programmed in 1965. Later in 1981/82 academic session when A.B.U Zaria allowed the college to introduce B.ed programme in (8) departments, history was mandated to teach courses such as Nationalism and history and philosophy of science in general studies.
